LaToya Peoples is a Philadelphia native, Baltimore based, nationally recognized, multi-hyphenate creative, public artist, educator, curator and entrepreneur. LaToya’s artistic practice includes painting, mural & public art installation, printmaking and design. She earned her BFA at Maryland Institute College of Art, prior to an 8 years as a certified visual arts educator. Much of LaToya’s work focuses on symbolism and narrative through juxtaposing figuration, organic forms, vibrant color and cultural pattern.
